PD Sessions on home page updated for January 2026

The six PD sessions featured on the main page are updated for January 2026. As I noted above, most are during the second full week of the month. In particular, I normally wouldn't recommend three events on the same day (January 15th) including 2 at the same time - but it is more important to let you know about the best offerings available.

Related to that, up to this point I have been trying to updated the professional development sessions on a monthly basis, but I am finding that strategy has certain weaknesses. I haven't been able to feature sessions scheduled right at the end of one month or at the beginning of the following month, and a lot of times I don't find out about topics until a couple of weeks prior to the PD event (like NGPF, for example).

So while I will still focus on monthly periods, I may do occasional updates starting the second half of a month and carrying over to the next month. That is tentatively what I am planning for January - expect another update in two weeks to cover the last two weeks of January and hopefully the first week of February with whatever PD events have been announced by then.
