As I mentioned above, I realized that 4 of the 6 professional development sessions on the home page were done by the end of the first week of February - 3 completed and 1 cancelled. So even though I just posted a week-and-a-half ago, I'm changing out several for new opportunities (but leaving up the FEE and NCSS sessions taking place next week).
Two of the new sessions are next week (yes, I know there are now two at the same time on Thursday the 12th, but hopefully appealing to different audiences). Then the other two new opportunities are the following week - one on the 18th and one on the 19th. While some PD organizations seem to be avoiding the middle of this month (between Valentine's Day and a 3-day weekend for Presidents' Day) others are simply focusing on mid-week offerings.
Hopefully you didn't notice anything different in the blog updates the past few days while I was in Texas (I'm actually writing this post from the airport in Austin). I wrote up several posts before I left and the advance scheduling system seemed to work well! I will make a couple of special posts about Texas locations this coming week, but we'll see what that looks like once I am back into a normal routine Monday or Tuesday!
