PD Sessions on home page updated for the remainder of April 2026
Most of the early April sessions are complete, so I thought it was a good time to transition to PD sessions for the last full week of the month. There is one session carrying over this week - I will probably then slip in another session without a separate announcement. As usual I'm just posting a mix of what is out there - make use of it if you can.

Updating this a little earlier than usual this time around - for whatever reason, there were a lot of PD sessions right after Easter, while very few this coming middle week of April. So I decided to update 5 of the 6 sessions for the last 10 days of the month - I will probably replace the other one right after that National Constitution Center session takes place on the 15th.
I will also mention that my updates will probably be a little more "hit or miss" the first two weeks of May - either that or I will try to write some posts in advance and schedule them to update automatically. Each year I run a lot of AP testing, and adding that to my normal schedule will keep me very busy! I would still like to start a couple of new series, but not sure if that will happen until late May leading into the summer.
Again, I'm going to try to document the updates I put on the home page (since I don't keep copies of the home page when I update it) in this update blog post - I will not duplicate registration links, but at least can record what was offered for "posterity". In this case I am not including the NCC session (since it was listed on the previous PD update) - here are the new listings as of tonight:
Federal Reserve Education, "Smart Money Moves: Active-Learning Activities to Make Personal Finance Exciting", 4/21, 3:30-4:30pm CT
EconEdLink, "Power Up Your Economics & Personal Finance Instruction with Design Thinking!", 4/21, 6-7pm CT
Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE), "Teaching Executive Power Through Economic Reasoning", 4/22, 6-7:30pm CT
NextGen Personal Finance (NGPF), "Speaker Series: Losing Big And The Hidden Costs of America's Gambling Boom with Jonathan Cohen", 4/23, 6-7pm CT
Econiful, "Lights, Camera, Econ! Turning Economic Theory into Student Productions", 4/29, 6-7pm CT
Look for a new set of PD updates the last week of April - some areas of the country will start wrapping up the school year by Memorial Day, while others will keep going through June.
